Perhaps the most notable aspect of public relations is publicity generation. The old saying that all publicity is good publicity, isn’t really true. Abraham Lincoln once noted that “what kills the skunk is the publicity it gives itself.” It today’s world and media environment, a better approach is that all managed publicity is good publicity.
